PGIMER Professor first Indian President of APAMT

Dr Ashish bhalla, Professor Internal medicine at PGIMER, Chandigarh has been elected as PRESIDENT of  Asia Pacific Association for Medical Toxicology (APAMT)  at the recently concluded Annual meeting at Singapore. This Association is responsible for developing Clinical Toxicology as a specialty in the Asia Pacific region.  He is the first Indian elected to the post.  Prof Ashish Bhalla completed his Fellowship in Clinical Toxicology from Guys and Thomas Hospital, London, UK in 2014-15 and has been serving as the Board member of APAMT since last 4 years. He also served as Secretary General of Asia Pacific association for Medical Toxicology (APAMT) for 2 years, from 2012-2014.
